Easter Time

This Easter we got the opportunity to spend it Travis and his family in Minersville.  Travis is always bragging about how ''much fun it is, and how it is the best in the whole world".  I told him spending the Easter in Minersville has a lot to live up to after spending most of my Easters in Circleville.  It turned out to be just about as much fun as Travis said it would be.  We went to the hills and the "Easter Bunny" actually came and found us.  It even rode up on a 4-wheeler.  Sawyer didn't really care much for the Easter Bunny this year.  Maybe next year when he understands it a bit better.
"Somebody HELP ME!!!"

Yes I forgot sunscreen.  Sawyer is fried.

Loves for Grandma.

I love that he has his hand out the window and is just chillin'

Jarret had a baby duck.  Sawyer was not very impressed.
We also got to spend some time with my family while we were there.  Sawyer just loves his cousins which is good because they love him just as much.

Quietness=Mischief

One evening I was cleaning up the house after I got Sawyer ready for bed.  I left Sawyers room expecting him to follow me like he always does.  However, instead Sawyer wandered into my room and found his favorite toy my CELL PHONE.  Why is it that babies are so attracted to cell phones, and that they have to been working cell phones?
When I went back into check on where he was and what he was doing because it was entirely too quiet I found Saywer, who had climbed on his Dad's pile of clothes (honestly they are not mine), and retrieved my phone.  When I came back into the room I said "Sawyer, What are you doing?"  He then proceeded to hand me over the phone.  Such a cutie, life would be so boring without him.
I couldn't get him to smile like he was when I first walked in. Such an innocent face.

Swinging at the Park

We decided to take advantage of the few warm non-raining days in April.  We headed over the small park here at the Springs.  It is just big enough to satisfy our inner child.  We had to document our experience of course too so here are the results.
Wee, higher, HIGHER
We could not get him to look at us.  Silly Kiddo.

So funny story, maybe it was a "have to be there" moment but I am sure the people watching us swing from their windows got a good laugh.  So, Travis had given me an underdog.  I decided I would like to give it a try and give him one too.  Well he was already slightly swinging when I went to walk behind him.  Apparently, I have forgotten the rule about not walking behind a swing.  I completely misjudged how fast Travis was going and when I walked behind him he ran into me knocking me completely off my feet and sent me flying.  All we could both do was laugh, in fact, Travis fell out of his swing he was laughing so hard.  We have some great times!!

Sleepy Sawyer

I love when my baby falls asleep on me.  It is rare that he actually does this anymore though.  Nothing is better than snuggling with your baby.

RAGNAR RELAY

I am so excited for June 17 and 18.  Why you may ask, well it is the Ragnar Relay- Wasatch Back.  I did this race two years ago, with the Mighty Mandelbaums (If you don't get the name watch Seinfield). It was awesome.  We had the best team, and I definitely had the best van.  I was supposed to do it last year with the team again but I got pregnant.  I was so bummed.  My team ran without me and had a blast.  I couldn't let another year go by and not do it so I asked my sisters and cousins to join me in this crazy adventure.  I am sorry to say but the adventurous and crazy gene must run in our family. I just can't wait.  It will be 24 hours of madness, sweat and no sleep. I hope they are all ready because I can't wait.
Our team- minus Dave at the first major exchange, look how fresh we look.

Our team- minus Tracy G. at the last major exchange.  Van 1 is so excited to be finished.

The Finish Line.  We were all pooped so so excited.

Bouncer

Sawyer loves to bounce all the time.  We decided to put his good effort of trying to jump to good use and get him a bouncer.  He loves it....most of the time.  Someday's he does well and others not so good, but this was a good day.  He is growing so fast.  It is hard to think of our lives without him in it. We love him so much, he makes us smile everyday.

My Head Won't Fit

I thought these pictures were hilarious.  Sawyer loves to crawl all over.  He crawls under our table and through the legs of the chairs.  He loves to go just about anywhere his body will let him.  He found his match with our recliner and our side table.  I don't know why he chose the path of most resistance but he did.  It must be a guy thing ;).  J/K
